wexler.ai raises $5.3M seed for AI litigation platform

London-based legaltech wexler.ai raises $5.3M seed led by Pear VC to expand its AI litigation platform and launch real-time testimony checks.

London-based wexler.ai, an AI platform for complex litigation, has raised a $5.3 million seed round led by Pear VC, with participation from Seedcamp, The LegalTech Fund, and pre-seed lead investors Myriad Venture Partners. The raise coincides with the launch of Wexler Real-Time, a feature that flags false or inconsistent testimony as it is spoken in depositions and hearings.

Founded in 2024, wexler.ai is already being used by top global law firms to build case chronologies, query vast case materials, and uncover inconsistencies. Customers include HSF Kramer, Goodwin Procter, Addleshaw Goddard, Clifford Chance, and Burges Salmon. Since its pre-seed, the company has grown ARR 20x and cut manual review time by at least 75%.

We’re replacing slow, manual, and error-prone litigation review with a system that thinks like a litigator but operates at machine scale and speed. With our newest release, litigators can not only build a winning case strategy by mastering the evidence, but challenge inaccuracies as they happen in proceedings.” ~ Gregory Mostyn, co-founder and CEO of wexler.ai

The company’s platform is designed specifically for litigation, turning raw datasets into verified, actionable facts. It can process up to 500,000 documents per upload, supports multilingual deployments, and integrates security features including user-specific encryption keys, GDPR compliance, and SOC 2 Type II certification.

Litigation is one of the most complex and high-stakes areas of law, and wexler.ai is redefining how lawyers uncover and use facts” ~ Tom Wilson, partner at Seedcamp.

The platform is seeing growing adoption across AmLaw 50 firms in the U.S., multinational practices in London, and firms across Canada, Europe, and APAC. More than 70% of users are in the U.S., where the company is planning further expansion with the new capital.

We like the accuracy and litigation-focused design of Wexler—it’s truly a product for litigators” said David Hobbie, director of knowledge & innovation at Goodwin.

The funding will also support scaling Wexler’s infrastructure to handle millions of documents per upload, expansion of its engineering and commercial teams, and additional real-time litigation tools.
