Kluisz.ai has secured $9.6 million in seed funding to develop what it describes as a next-generation private cloud platform designed specifically for artificial intelligence workloads. The three-month-old deeptech startup attracted investment from RTP Global, which led the round, alongside Unicorn India Ventures, Blume Founders Fund, and Climber Capital.

The Bengaluru-based company is building infrastructure software that combines zero-trust security principles with AI-native orchestration capabilities. Rather than retrofitting existing cloud solutions for AI applications, the startup is constructing its platform from the ground up to handle the specific requirements of generative AI deployments across hybrid, on-premises, edge, and sovereign environments.

Experienced Leadership Team

The founding trio brings substantial enterprise technology experience to the venture. Abhinav Sinha, who serves as CEO, previously held the role of Global COO and CPO at OYO and worked at Boston Consulting Group. Co-founder Vamshidhar Reddy comes from McKinsey, where he was a partner, and also spent time at AMD. The third founder, Abhijeet Singh, led cloud operations at Jio and previously worked at AT&T.

“We’re building a software company that offers a next-gen private cloud platform for the GenAI era. Our approach is developer-first, with embedded intelligence across security, observability, and workload management functions” Abhinav Sinha, CEO.

Technical Focus and Market Approach

The platform addresses enterprises seeking greater autonomy in their AI infrastructure while maintaining strict security and compliance requirements. By integrating intelligence directly into core system functions, Kluisz.ai aims to reduce the manual overhead typically associated with managing complex AI workloads across distributed environments.

The startup’s approach centres on providing full control across various deployment scenarios, from traditional on-premises installations to edge computing environments and sovereign cloud requirements. This flexibility targets organisations that need to balance AI capabilities with regulatory compliance or data sovereignty concerns.

Funding Allocation and Growth Plans

With its current team of 15 members, Kluisz.ai plans to allocate approximately 80% of the new funding towards expanding its engineering capabilities in Bengaluru. The focus will be on infrastructure and systems software expertise, which the company identifies as a growing but specialised skill area within India’s technology sector.

The remaining funds will support product development acceleration and early customer deployments. The startup is already working with initial clients to validate its platform approach and refine its offering based on real-world AI infrastructure requirements.

Investor Perspective

Madhur Makkar, Principal at RTP Global, highlighted the team’s combination of technical depth and market understanding. “Abhinav, Vamshi and Abhijeet bring world-class experience and vision to this space” Madhur Makkar noted, expressing confidence in their ability to reimagine private cloud infrastructure for AI applications.

Bhaskar Majumdar from Unicorn India Ventures emphasized the broader significance of Indian deeptech startups in the global innovation landscape. He described Kluisz.ai’s AI-deployed cloud management capabilities as helping large teams maintain performance while ensuring security and compliance requirements are met.

The funding round also attracted angel investors from India’s technology sector, including Ritesh Agarwal from OYO, Dr Ritesh Malik from Innov8, and Aditya Virwani from Embassy Group, suggesting industry recognition of the startup’s potential market opportunity.
