Swiss agritech leader backed by Highland Europe, ECBF, and McWin Capital advances sustainable crop protection with 95% less pesticide use.

Ecorobotix, a Swiss agritech company pioneering AI-powered precision spraying, has raised a total of $150 million across its Series C ($45M, 2024) and Series D ($105M, 2025) rounds to scale its Plant-by-Plant™ technology and unveil new innovations at Agritechnica 2025 in Hanover this November.

Led by Highland Europe, with participation from new investors European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF) and McWin Capital Partners (via McWin Food Tech Fund), the funding supports Ecorobotix’s expansion into new crop types, global markets, and advanced AI-driven crop algorithms.

Thanks to the trust of our investors, we are scaling a proven solution to help deliver better-quality food for the world” ~ Dominique Mégret, CEO of Ecorobotix.

Ecorobotix’s patented Plant-by-Plant™ AI system detects and treats each individual plant with a spray footprint of only a few centimeters, reducing pesticide and fertilizer use by up to 95% while maintaining treatment effectiveness. The approach improves yields, lowers input costs, and enables the use of non-selective crop protection products safely and sustainably.

Farmers today face rising costs, labor shortages, and pressure to reduce inputs while still producing more foodMégret said. “Our new innovation takes precision even further to help them meet those challenges.”

Ecorobotix’s flagship product, the ARA Ultra-High Precision sprayer, is already deployed in over 20 countries across Europe, the Americas, and Oceania, with more than 25 AI crop algorithms available. Its Plant-by-Plant™ approach provides an alternative to conventional spraying, delivering targeted treatment that supports climate-smart agriculture and helps farmers meet tightening EU environmental regulations.

The company, certified as a B Corporation, has built long-term partnerships with strategic investors and agrifood players including 4FOX Ventures, AQTON, BASF Venture Capital, Capagro, Cibus Capital, Flexstone Partners, Fondation Domaine de Villette, Meritech, Stellar Impact, Swisscanto, Swisscom Ventures, and Yara Growth Ventures.

Ecorobotix’s upcoming unveiling at Agritechnica 2025 is expected to showcase the next evolution of AI-driven crop care, further pushing the boundaries of sustainability and efficiency in global agriculture.
