Czech energy-tech Delta Green secures €2M from Credo Ventures, Tilia Impact Ventures, and Purple Ventures to scale its virtual power platform.
Prague-based Delta Green has raised €2 million in new funding from Credo Ventures, Tilia Impact Ventures, and Purple Ventures to accelerate its mission of turning European homes into an integrated network of smart, flexible energy assets.
The funding will fuel Delta Green’s pan-European expansion, as the company positions itself to build Europe’s largest household-based virtual power plant. Its platform links thousands of homes into a single network that can shift energy consumption, discharge home batteries, and export rooftop solar power at times of high grid demand, reducing energy costs and supporting renewable integration.
“We are really happy to see that Delta Green’s timing for their flexibility aggregation solution was perfect” said Pavel Petřek, Partner at Tilia Impact Ventures. “Just as the market realized the importance of this kind of solution for energy transformation towards greater sustainability, Delta Green already had a proven product in operation.”
Co-founder Jan Hicl added, “Household flexibility is no longer in a pilot phase, our growth proves it works across thousands of households. We’re now accelerating our plans as market demand is clear, with major retailers across Europe approaching us to deploy our solution.”
Delta Green’s technology is already live across several markets, including Romania, Italy, Hungary, and Slovakia, with new partnerships underway. In the Czech Republic, E.ON, the country’s second-largest energy supplier, has integrated Delta Green’s flexibility service into its grid operations, enabling households to earn up to €200 per year for participating in balancing the grid.
Originally founded in 2008 under the name Nano Green within the Nano Energies Group, the company rebranded as Delta Green in 2024. It is co-owned by engineers and developers David Brozik, Prokop Cech, Lukas Benes, and Jan Hicl.
As renewable adoption accelerates across Europe, Delta Green aims to place households at the center of the continent’s energy transition, empowering them to become active participants in grid stability and decarbonization.
